This fluffy pet is not a dog or a cat, or even a hamster, but a real bumblebee, only without wings.

Fiona Presley was working in the garden near the house when she noticed a bumblebee at her feet. The woman was afraid that she might accidentally crush the insect, picked it up to put it on a flower, and saw that this bumblebee was not like the others.

Not knowing how else to help the insect, Presley brought him some water with sugar and planted it on a flower in the hope that the bumblebee would cope on its own. A few hours later, the woman decided to check on him and found that he had not moved. The weather began to deteriorate, it began to rain, and Presley moved to decisive action.

Presley turned to the Bumblebee Conservation Foundation for help and found out that the insect most likely had a virus that causes problems with the development of wings. His chances of survival in the wild were minimal. Presley decided not to abandon the bumblebee, which she named Bee, and built a real flower buffet for him — a specially equipped miniature garden covered with a net.

Presley continued to visit Bee every day, brought him sweet water, and took him home in bad weather. In the end, the bumblebee got used to his savior, and every time Presley came to visit him, he climbed out of the foliage to greet her.

For unknown reasons, Bee became attached to Presley and became animated when the woman was around.

The woman enjoyed friendship with her unusual pet, but the bumblebee's age is short, although Bi has lived longer than bumblebees usually live in captivity. Five months later, bumblebee died: he fell asleep on Presley's arm and never woke up again.

Presley buried Bee in the garden next to his favorite flower.
