I got overweight as a child — I've always been a crumpet. It is quite logical that it was hard for me at school, especially I remember the physical education lessons — they were a real test. Although in general I got used to the fact that I didn't enjoy much success, but the graduation in the 9th grade still finished me off. I have never felt such loneliness! My classmates did not approach me, and when I walked in their direction, they quickly headed in the other direction. After several attempts, I realized that all this is not just like that. It was at that moment that I decided to lose weight, and also started reading books on psychology.
Externally, I have not changed very much, but internally I have changed noticeably. All this did not happen immediately, gradually, but I became popular from a downtrodden fat clumsy girl. And all because I realized that it can't go on like this, I can no longer be in a state of suffering and complaining about the whole world. By the way, I am still friends with those classmates. Once I even discussed this situation with one of them at graduation: she didn't even know that I remember all this, that I was so offended. She said that at that time I was not very interesting, stuffy, so it turned out that way. Of course, it was not very beautiful, but who is not mistaken, after all, we were children.
I have always been overweight and, in general, before it became critical (more than 100 kg), I lived almost normally, and then shortness of breath appeared, it became difficult to climb even to the 4th floor at school, and all this greatly reduced the quality of life. Did others treat this with understanding? No.
Usually I was insulted rather than made neat remarks about how I needed to lose weight — it was really very hard.
Now I don't break down, but just competently enter my favorite and maybe not very healthy foods into my diet: for example, I ate something sweet at breakfast in the morning, which means there will be a little less carbohydrates for lunch. Something like that. In general, everything starts with the head, you need to rebuild your attitude to the figure, nutrition, lifestyle.
I am very pleased with my results. I used to be full, insecure. It was terribly unpleasant for me to look at myself, because I was fatter than everyone in my school! It was difficult to find beautiful clothes for myself, I had to wear something that fits at least in size, and these were age-appropriate clothes.
Every day I was humiliated, and I wanted only one thing — to break out of this vicious circle.
How to maintain weight
Even in the middle of the weight loss process, my main goal was to maintain weight, which, by the way, has been working for more than four years! This is even more difficult than getting rid of extra pounds, since many people can get together for a while and set themselves some limits, but few people are ready to stick to the regime all their lives.
I achieve all this by an active lifestyle and proper nutrition. I eat almost everything — even pasta, for example, but only if they are made from whole grain flour. Almost every harmful product can be found a useful replacement, the main thing is to include imagination — this is what makes it possible to eat a variety, tasty and healthy.
Such a lifestyle, training in the gym or at home, cycling, roller skates, long walks and swimming — all this is great, you need to find something that gives pleasure, and then it will not be torture. In principle, eating right, you can maintain weight, but sports helps the figure to acquire the right shape. Of course, if I start eating everything again, I will gain weight. Weight loss is a simple math: eat more than the norm - you gain, eat less — you lose.
Now I am helping others to change their lives and I am happy that I can share my experience. I managed not only to solve the problem of excess weight, but also to become a successful blogger, I wrote a book, created my own online course, visited many TV shows, and many of my articles were published in magazines. Sometimes I look back, and I can't even believe that all this is real. Obviously, I wouldn't have believed it when I weighed more than 100 kg, which is even possible!
Believe that you will succeed. If you don't believe me, look at my example and the examples of many other people. It motivates.
Understand why you need it, and it suits any purpose, not only weight loss.
To determine the goal — it should be clear and clear.
To break this ultimate goal into several stages, since many people will need a lot of time to implement them and need to motivate themselves somehow and reward themselves at the end of each stage. This will help not to give up.
