Environmental protection, ecology and human values-this is what has been occupying the photographer for several decades.
During his life, Sebastian Salgado has implemented twelve photo projects, the last of which, started in 2004 — "Genesis" - was completed recently. The idea of the project is to demonstrate places on the planet Earth that are almost untouched by man. Our country is also represented in it by a series of photos about the indigenous inhabitants of the north-the Nenets.
