The man turned his living room into a restaurant

Categories: Europe

A man who loves to cook turned a room in his house into a restaurant — despite the fact that he had no special education and a normal stove. Now 43-year-old Matt Watson, who used to be a decorator, works as a cook three times a week and, among other things, sells homemade takeaway food. The restaurant, which opened four years ago, is called "Matt's Kitchen" and is located in Somerset, UK. Every year Matt earns more and more.

A waitress and a dishwasher help him in the restaurant. Matt prepares one main course and snacks and desserts to choose from. Among the main dishes, for example, pork belly in green chili or lamb shoulder with yogurt and nuts. The restaurant pays only in cash, and you can bring alcohol with you. Matt serves about 70 guests a week.
