40-year-old Ricardas Puisis, a native of Lithuania, went missing in September 2015. Then the man came to the English town of Wisbech, where his parents live. He was last seen on September 26 at work at the farmer's company Nightlayer Leek, after which he suddenly disappeared.

His colleagues also suspected that something had happened to Puisis because he was seen in the company of unknown men, presumably Lithuanians.

Colleagues raised the alarm when Puisis failed to show up for his shift two days later, and later his ID card was found in a local park. The police came to the conclusion that something was wrong with the man.

Although the bodies and other evidence were not found, the police opened a criminal case of murder and began to investigate it. Later, the police even detained a suspect in the murder, but his involvement was not proven, and the man was released.

The case settled down, but in 2018 the police were informed that an account with the name and photos of Puisis appeared on Facebook. He had his relatives and relatives as friends, but the officers did not claim that it was the missing person who used the page.

Everything changed in July of this year, when residents of the English district of Wisbech said that they had seen a missing man. It turned out that all these years Puisis lived in the forest adjacent to the Wisbeck district. He made himself a modest home, and hid there, not seeing anyone, but only texting with his family via Facebook.

What made a man hide in the woods for such a long time? Officers suggest that threats or "modern slavery", where he was allegedly exploited for unknown purposes, could have pushed him to do this. At the moment, the police are investigating this case.
