As we age, we sometimes don't even notice all the small changes that happen to us from day to day. In her series of portraits called "Personalities," London-based photographer Ana Oliveira observes how people change as they age.

Ana's models bring her photos from the past, and she tries to recreate the original pose, clothing, and overall style of the photo. The result-a combination of images from the past and present-represents the road of life that each of the models has traveled.

Some diptychs show an age difference of up to 60 years. It is very interesting to see exactly how a person has changed over the years. Portraits give an amazing feeling – you seem to be looking at a completely changed face, but at the same time you realize that it is still the same person. It must be true that the eyes always remain young!
