But some masters have a particularly developed imagination, which makes their work especially interesting. Illustrator Igor Skaletsky belongs to such people of art.
Igor Skaletsky was born in 1978 in Voronezh. In 1990, together with his parents, he emigrated to Israel, but he did not forget about his homeland. In 2008, Igor graduated from MGAKH im. Surikov and received a bachelor's degree.
Today Igor works both in Israel and in Russia, without giving preference to any country. Skaletsky's technique is characterized by a mixture of classical painting and original collage, which makes the artist's works well recognizable and very interesting.
Critics consider Skaletsky one of the most interesting illustrators, revealing his potential more and more brightly every year. The first solo exhibition of the master, held in Israel, became a real event, causing lively discussions in the creative environment and the media.
Combining painting techniques known for centuries with digital art, Skaletsky builds a kind of bridge between the past and the future. At the same time, the artist masterfully manipulates the viewer's subconscious, generating unusual and spectacular images from other eras and dimensions.
The well-known and pretty tired stories, interpreted by Igor Skaletsky, get a new, unusual meaning.
Collage, which was once treated as something frivolous, is gaining more and more solid positions in the world of modern art. This direction also has its own classics, for example, the very young, but already world-famous Rama Krishna Mukti Adi from Indonesia.
