The Golden Bridge in Da Nang is a place in Vietnam that everyone needs to see

Vietnam is a country with a huge tourist potential, where there is everything that vacationers and curious travelers need. Magnificent beaches, giant caves, ancient temples and wonderful tropical nature attract millions of visitors to this country every year. Of course, the Vietnamese are doing everything to make their country even more interesting — this is how the Golden Bridge in Da Nang appeared on the map of Vietnam's attractions.

The unique 150-meter Golden Bridge, which opened at the Ba Na Hills resort in Da Nang in June 2018, became one of the most popular attractions on the planet in the first days of its operation. In Instagram, the video with the bridge in the first days gathered more than 7 million views and thousands of admiring comments.

The reaction of users is not surprising — the structure is actually capable of impressing anyone. Located at an altitude of 1,414 meters above sea level, the Golden Bridge offers visitors incredible panoramic views of the rainforested mountains and the city of Da Nang.

But landscapes are not all that attracts tourists here. The bridge itself is both a miracle of engineering and an architectural masterpiece. It looks like a silk ribbon held in stone hands by a huge deity.

The semicircular bridge is supported by steel columns and two stone palms. Looking at the giant hands, one might think that they had been here for centuries before the engineers of the XXI century did not use them as a support. The surface of the palms, made of gray stone, is covered with a grid of cracks and green moss.

But this is an illusion conceived by the designers of the structure to give the Golden Bridge an additional flavor. The giant's palms were created together with the bridge and specially "aged". The spectacular "hands of God" made of mossy stone effectively contrast with the steel and glass from which the main structures of the bridge are made.

To the right and left, along the entire pedestrian part of the structure, at the railings of the bridge, there are flowerbeds with fresh flowers that create a special mood for visitors. The new facility was liked not only by tourists, but also by the Vietnamese themselves. People come to Da Nang tens of kilometers away to take a walk at a dizzying height or arrange a wedding photo shoot.
