The girls sat down to argue 1000 times and it didn't do them any good
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/the-girls-sat-down-to-argue-1000-times-and-it-didnt-do-them-any-good.htmlWe have all heard that exercise is beneficial. But at the same time, the fact that any load is good in moderation is almost always kept silent. Students from We decided to get the maximum effect from squats and performed this exercise 1000 times. As it turned out, quantity does not always translate into quality.
Two best friends decided to arrange a sports marathon via video link and test each other's endurance. On July 10, 19-year-old Tan called her friend, and the girls agreed to sit down 1000 times in a row. Later, Tan told reporters that neither they nor her friend had any experience of serious physical exertion, but the idea seemed to them just wonderful.
The girls wanted not only to find out in a fair fight which of them is stronger and more resilient, but also to burn the maximum calories in one fell swoop. To be honest, the students turned on the video link and squatted in front of the webcams to see each other.
The competition took three whole hours, but it's not that much if you want to achieve the perfect figure. It was very difficult to sit down 1000 times in a row, but the girlfriends coped with the task with honor. The result did not take long to wait — it showed itself in a couple of days and was completely unexpected.
Tan said that she felt unwell the next day — she felt pain in her muscles and general weakness. A day later, the girl's condition worsened so much that she had to go to the doctors.
The student called the hospital and called a doctor at home. The doctor, after examining the patient, came to the conclusion that everything is much more serious than you can imagine and the hapless athlete was taken to the intensive care unit. Tan's muscles were seriously damaged and the toxins formed as a result of this painful condition enter the bloodstream.
Dr. Li Ning, who had to save the patient, said that the situation was critical and the girl had to save her life. The level of myoglobin in the blood was so high that the device did not have enough divisions on the scale to determine its content.
The doctor also noted that such a condition can occur with muscle injuries of a different nature, such as severe electrical injuries, falls from a height, car accidents, poisoning and taking narcotic substances. Li Ning warned beginners against excessive loads and recommended not to experiment on their own, but to use the services of a professional trainer.
The story is silent about how the second participant of the competition feels, but there is every reason to assume that she is not in much better condition than her friend.
No matter how much you warn people against experimenting on their body, there will always be those who want to take a chance and pull off something unusual and extremely risky. For example, to eat bugs and larvae, like one brave Australian journalist.
