The four-legged star of "Mosfilm": a bronze horse, which was filmed at least as often as Mironov

Artists, composers, writers — all have their own rituals and talismans. For example, the famous director Leonid Gaidai always broke a plate before the start of filming and shot black cats in almost every picture of his, believing that they bring good luck.
But, it turns out, there are also such cinematic mascots that serve different directors of different eras. Do you remember the bronze winged horse that Novoseltsev dropped in "Office Romance"? He can also be seen in "The Diamond Hand", "Shirley-Myrli" and at least three other films.

For the first time, the horse appeared on the movie screen with a cameo role in Mikhail Romm's film "Secret Mission" released in 1950. The film was a great success, the director was presented to the Stalin Prize of the first degree.
The horse had to wait 15 years for the next appointment. Only in 1965 he composed a duet with a young Valery Zolotukhin in the tragicomedy "Package" by Vladimir Nazarov. Unlike the horse, this role was Zolotukhin's debut.
It cannot be said that the "Package" became a high-profile event, but it was after this role that Gaidai himself invited the horse to his new film "The Diamond Hand". The proud profile of the animal appears in the frame when Semyon Semyonych is looking for "the same, but without wings."
Here the real glory overtook the black Pegasus. Eldar Ryazanov assigned him a crucial role in the formation of Roman Novoseltsev and Lyudmila Prokofievna. "Office Romance" became the undisputed leader of the 1978 rental and gathered over 58 million viewers in cinemas.
After that, the horse flashed several times in Emil Loteanu's film "My Affectionate and Gentle Beast", based on Chekhov's novella "Drama on the Hunt". The film, by the way, was included in the competition program of the Cannes Film Festival.
And finally, the horse created his last image to date for Vladimir Menshov's comedy "Shirley-Myr'ly" in 1995. In it, he played a horse.
