We are talking, of course, about everyone's favorite "Scream", which turns 25 in 2021.

The film "Scream" has long been a legend and is rightfully considered a classic of the genre. Thanks to The Scream, Wes Craven managed to resurrect the popularity of the slasher genre, and several young actors became stars. The first "Scream" in 1996. His main character was a teenage girl Sydney (Campbell), who was being hunted by a masked maniac. 

After 25 years, the heroes return to their hometown to uncover a new series of sinister murders in the new movie "Scream 5". And how are the stars of "Scream" and how do they look now?

The role of high school student Sydney, the "last girl", turned out to be very successful for Neve Campbell. A few years after the "Scream", the career of the actress was very promising, it's a pity that now Niv appears on the screens less often than her fans would like.

The image of the persistent and shameless journalist Gail, which Courteney Cox created, was far from her cutie Monica from Friends, but this only emphasized the talent of the actress.

However, filming in "Scream" had more of an impact on Courtney's personal life than on her career: it was there, on the set of a horror movie, that she met David Arquette, whom she married.

A representative of the Arquette creative dynasty, David, was content with minor roles before The Scream. But the role of modest Dewey brought him to a higher level of the professional hierarchy and contributed to family happiness (though not too long) with Courteney Cox.

After breaking up with Courteney Cox in 2010, Arquette married journalist Christina McLarty in 2015. They have two sons: Charlie West (7 years old) and August Alexis (4 years old). Currently, the actor is working on several projects, including appearing in the 2022 film "Scream 5".

In The Scream, Rose got a small but memorable role. Although Rose's fame came after more commercial films, for the most part she starred in independent films.

After a successful debut, McGowan began acting nonstop, but her career began to decline by 2015. McGowan became one of the first Hollywood actresses to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault. Unfortunately, "The Scream" has remained Skeet's most memorable work. Subsequently (and to this day) the actor played minor characters, although moviegoers today perfectly remember his insidious psychopath Billy from "Scream".

In the 90s, Matthew Lillard was one of the most sought-after young actors, and the role of Stewart only consolidated his success. After The Scream, Matthew was featured in many youth films of the early 2000s, including Scooby-Doo and 13 Ghosts. Now Matthew heads the production center and writes scripts.

In the Scream franchise, the talented Hollywood comedian Jamie Kennedy played Randy Mix, and it was thanks to this role that he became popular. Since then, Jamie has appeared in more than 70 films. 

In addition, he has repeatedly acted as a screenwriter and producer. He now runs his own production company called Jamie Kennedy Entertainment. He is the host of the new season of the show "Stand-up" and "Going on Stage", broadcast on the Pluto TV channel.

Unlike most of her colleagues on the set of "Scream," Drew Barrymore was already a Hollywood star when she played 17-year-old schoolgirl Casey Becker. Actually, the film begins with the fact that Casey receives a call from a strange horror lover. In fact, Casey became one of the first victims of the Ghost Face, and by this fact alone she entered the history of genre cinema. 

Recently, the actress reprised her role from "Scream" in a funny video where she showed how technology and phone communication have changed over 25 years. Thanks to these changes, her heroine survived safely.
