The disturbing fantasies of the" new Dutchman " Eric Tierolf

The artist from the Netherlands Erik Tierolf is our contemporary, but the handwriting of the classic is clearly visible in his paintings. Tierolf's paintings have been exhibited in the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, France, Israel and the USA. They adorn the offices of large companies and the collections of connoisseurs of modern painting in different parts of the world.

Most of the artist's paintings are made in the style of realism, but they often contain surreal elements, often with dramatic overtones. I would like to call the master's works a modern Renaissance and they invariably arouse interest even among people who are far from art. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Tierolf raises modern themes in his paintings: relations between men and women, vices, indifference and violence.

Often in the artist's paintings you can see the sea and people struggling with the elements or meekly waiting for their fate. This is how Tierolf sees human life and the attitude of different people to it.
