South African animal photographer Hannes Lochner has been photographing wildlife in the national parks of his native Africa for many years. During this time, he traveled more than 100,000 km through the Kgalagadi National Park in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, capturing amazing moments from the life of leopards, lions, cheetahs, spotted and brown hyenas and jackals.

Filming took place over two years in the Kalahari Desert, which covers an area of about 600,000 square meters. km. The photographer had a hard time - he was bitten by scorpions at least 16 times. The constant heat did not interfere with creativity, Hannes Lochner spent up to 20 hours a day in open areas. The result was worth it - amazing photos with character, which were included in the photo album "The Dark Side of the Kalahari".
