Probably, this is why these animals most often become the heroes of popular memes. Another of them was born literally out of the blue, or rather, on the artificial lawn of the Babbacombe miniature Park near the English town of Torquay, Devon. There the white cat just lay down to rest and became a real celebrity.
Recently, a Reddit user with the nickname haIf_sour published a photo that immediately attracted the attention of users. On it, a giant white cat was lying impressively on the lawn next to a beautiful city street. Many immediately recognized this place as the "Royal Crescent" street of the English city of Bath.
The author of the publication immediately began to be reproached for unoriginality, and this is not surprising – no one will be surprised by such "masterpieces" of photoshop today. But haIf_sour invited critics to take a closer look at the picture and they finally realized the beauty of this frame.
The white cat was just walking around the miniature park, and when he was tired, he lay down where he wanted, among models of buildings, trees, people and cars made with beautiful detail. After that, the picture went viral and collected 130 thousand positive marks.
The photo was immediately replicated on Reddit, and a few hours later it could be seen on other social networks. Very soon, the photos were accompanied by witty jokes and the sleeping cat turned into a meme.
But that was just the beginning. Soon the photoshop masters began to work, and only then did they "squeeze" all his meme potential out of the sleeping cat. Most of the variations could be found in the "Battle of Photoshop" subreddit.
Finally, I need to say a few words about the place where the fluffy hero lay down to rest. Babbacombe is one of the most famous miniature parks in the UK, founded in the middle of the 20th century. It contains models of the most significant historical places and architectural monuments of England and Scotland, including a miniature Stonehenge. In total, the complex includes 426 models of buildings and more than 13 thousand figures of people, not counting copies of cars, horses and dogs.
More recently, the runet has conquered another cat meme, about "fish". Eight cats became his heroes at once.
