On July 29, 1981, the wedding of the heir to the English throne, Prince Charles and Diana Spencer took place in London. In honor of this anniversary, we have collected the brightest shots of royal weddings of past years, consecrated by photographers since the beginning of the 20th century.

British royal weddings take place once in a generation and are celebrated with the chic and luxury inherent in the royal tradition. Royal family lovers gather early in the morning, filling the square in front of Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's Cathedral in the morning to get a glimpse of the royals in their finest dresses and suits.
