In April, she took a lifelong vow of celibacy, meditates for five hours a day and gave up designer outfits and cosmetics. Sofia says that a new way of life is her true vocation. Parties with stars, movie premieres and red carpets, romances with a whole string of very famous men — now everything is in the past.
"My past life was wonderful, but I like this one better. When I look at the photos of my past self, I'm still smiling. I think I had to go through such a life to see the real world. But now it's like I was born for the second time. Now my meaning of life is to get rid of all the negativity and reveal the truth about our existence."
Sofia was born into a Muslim family and grew up in South London. She had very strict parents and two brothers, but such upbringing and constant supervision made her a rebel in adolescence.

"When I was a teenager, I only dreamed of being free from the rules and restrictions of my religion. I wanted to be sexy, wear beautiful clothes and show off my body and long hair," says the former model.
Sofia has always loved singing and wanted to do it professionally, despite the disapproval of her parents. "It's not that I wanted to be famous; I just loved singing, but it all came together. When I became a model, I got my dream job as a TV presenter in an Asian youth TV program in 2000, and then my career quickly went uphill," the nun recalls.
After that, Sofia quarreled with her parents and quickly began to gain popularity in the modeling business. She starred in TV series and films of the British channels BBC and ITV and went to parties with the London cream of society. When she was 19 years old, she went to a party in the company of Leonardo DiCaprio. By 2009, she was invited to Bollywood, and then she starred in the main role in the movie "Unforgettable" (2014).
"I quickly gained fame as a very glamorous and pragmatic British woman in Bollywood, and people liked my sense of humor and sincerity. I loved wearing provocative outfits on the red carpet and having fun with my colleagues. Bollywood was very different from London. The stars have never admitted to cosmetic procedures or plastic surgery, and many liked to live a lie. I never said that in 2010 I enlarged my breasts and injected Botox, and also fell into the trap of denying my cosmetic procedures, but I didn't take all the attention and glamour so seriously." Sofia did not move to India to live there permanently. She spent a few months a year in Mumbai, and then returned home to London.
Sofia's career flourished, and she could earn up to 20 thousand pounds (26.3 thousand dollars) for a photo shoot. "I lived in a world of crazy parties and incredible wealth, where people were constantly taking drugs, but there was a feeling of emptiness all the time. I got caught up in it myself and used cocaine at parties. It was an easy life, but very wrong. I had a relationship with cricketer Rohit Sharma. I've met other men from Bollywood and London and thought it was true love. But it was just existence, it wasn't life. They often had fun all weekend long and came home at 11 a.m. on Sunday, and I had no idea where they were."
"One of them slept with prostitutes and once took me with him, thinking it was sexy. But it almost made me sick, and I realized that this is not the life I want. In fact, it was empty," says Sofia.
Sofia returned to London in the summer of 2014. She was in a five-star hotel for a procedure and noticed that the services of a spiritual healer were offered there. She was intrigued by this. "I asked at the reception about it, and they told me that it would be much cheaper if I went straight to his house," recalls the former actress and model. — And so I made an appointment. I have never had such an experience before. It was as if I had experienced an out-of-body experience. The healer told me that I have a special gift."
After the session, Sofia began to study spiritual practices and Reiki, the meaning of which is to direct healing energy through touch. "I didn't really understand what to do with it, but I felt a natural curiosity and wanted to know more."
Sofia experienced a lot that summer. "One day this summer I met a friend. The doctor told her that her eggs were not being produced and she was clinically infertile. Naturally, I was upset. But, trusting my healer and some of his predictions, I offered her my own healing session, and she agreed. Interestingly, just two hours later, she said she felt her ovaries swell. And a few months later she called me and told me: the doctor said she was very fertile, and she froze her eggs. Since then, events in my life have continued to unfold in an amazing way."
At that time, Sofia had a boyfriend, but, according to her, all physical desire was gone. "I suddenly felt that all my sexual desires had died. I didn't want anything. I was very confident when I ended this relationship."
Then, in September, Sofia went to a camp in Yorkshire, where she drank an infusion of ayahuasca, a hallucinogenic herb known in South America, which is used on the way to enlightenment.
"A friend tried it and said he saw my image, so I wanted to know what it was like. What would I experience?" Sofia took part in the Ayahuasca reception ceremony and experienced an experience that was decisive for her life. "I had an out-of-body experience. I saw the goddess Isis, the Mother of God, and I was told that I was on this earth in order to awaken her."
Coincidentally, on the same day Sofia found out about the death of her father, and says that her father moved into her body during the ceremony. "My parents were unhappy with my lifestyle, we haven't spoken for 13 years. But when I lost my father, I suspected that I would see him. During the spiritual ceremony, the father moved into my body and spoke through me. And thanks to this experience, I was calm at his funeral. I think I would feel terrible and would just kill myself if this didn't happen. Ayahuasca saved me. She showed me what happens when you die and helped me cope with grief."
Sofia became more and more convinced that she herself was a spiritual entity or its embodiment. She went to Egypt alone to visit the pyramids, where, according to her, she experienced an overwhelming feeling. "I felt that the spirits were trying to communicate with me, and I felt an energy that I had not dealt with before. My guide was impressed by the effect it had on me." The guide translated to her that the guards of the temple said that she was the prophecy about the goddess Isis.
In April of this year, Sofia removed silicone implants from her breast, stopped drinking alcohol, smoking, going to parties and became a vegan. She washed and put away all her designer outfits and has never worn jeans or made up since. Being a famous actress and a public person, she decided to explain her decision and went to Mumbai to give a press conference.
Dressed in a white dress made of natural cotton, she explained to Indian journalists that she wanted to give up the life she became famous for and follow a new path. Many of her former Bollywood colleagues did not support her, and journalists called her a hypocrite, but Sofia intends to firmly defend her new lifestyle.
Now she calls herself "Gaia Mother Sophia" or "Sacred Sophia" and spends her days meditating, visiting orphanages for orphaned girls and meeting people for healing sessions in London.
"More and more people come to my healing sessions. I use telepathy, the energy of my hands and crystals. I can communicate with the departed, people come to me for this, and often it brings them relief during grief. I also remove the emotional blocks that cause illness. Some people come to me with medical problems, and others with personal ones."
Sofia is still being offered a job on television, but she accepts only those offers in which she can be the new Sofia. She refused to work for 500 thousand pounds because they wanted to see her with long hair, makeup and in seductive outfits.
