The Azerbaijani artist has depicted the true face of the world, police in the satirical illustrations
Gunduz Agayev was born and raised in Azerbaijan. In 1998-2002 he studied at the Azerbaijan state art Academy. His name is known all over the world through satirical illustrations in which the artist invariably raises awkward and embarrassing questions.
Originally Agayev turned to this genre as a protest against injustice in their country and faced severe pressure from the authorities, he was dismissed from all current projects. In 2014, he had to leave Azerbaijan.
In the comic series "Police around the world," the artist depicts officers of the countries where, in his opinion, violated human rights, Russia, UK, China, Turkey, Sudan and so on. Most of the illustrations are satirical and critical, but represent some "good police".
