Tatras - mountains of amazing beauty
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/tatras-mountains-of-amazing-beauty.htmlPhotographer Marcin Kesek lives in the small village of Gronkow in southern Poland. His village is surrounded on all sides by mountains: Tatras, Peniny, Gorce — these are the beauties that Marcin photographs.
The photographer pays special attention to light, because this is an important aspect that determines how the landscape will look in the photo. Marcin arrives at the location he plans to shoot at least one hour before sunrise. Watching the changing sky, he decides what exactly he wants to capture today. If he photographs the sunset, he lingers for a few minutes after the sun sets, because it is at these moments that the sky turns into the most intense colors.
It is not always possible for a photographer to take the right frame the first time, and sometimes he returns to this place again. But when all the components turn out to be flawless, Marcin realizes that his efforts were not in vain. Most of all in landscape photography Marcin likes the opportunity to be closer to nature. He loves his job and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
