Canadian artist and illustrator Peter Ferguson paints unusual pictures, with creepy monsters and strange people. His creations seem depressive and filled with darkness and mysticism. But they do not repel the viewer, but arouse interest and a desire to delve into the details. These are exactly the feelings that arise when you see the paintings of Bruegel, Bosch and Vermeer, with which, by the way, Ferguson is often compared.

Peter Ferguson was born in Montreal in 1968. After school, he received a degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto in 1992. Immediately after this, the artist began working as an illustrator for Marvel Comics and The Wall Street Journal. Ferguson later designed books in the genre of fantasy and science fiction. His most famous project is considered to be the creation of illustrations for the series of novels “The Sisters Grimm”.
