Stop prejudice and stereotypes

Very often, we make unfair assessments and jump to conclusions about people based on their appearance, ethnicity, nationality, gender, and even age, but we do not like it when we are evaluated in this way.

Stop prejudice and stereotypes

The American photographer Joel Pares decided to fight against prejudices and stereotypes, who created an amazing series of photos called "Judging America". Stop prejudice and stereotypes-this is the message of Joel's work. So let's fight them all together.

In each photo on the left, you will see a stereotypical image of people belonging to a certain group, and on the right — a specific person who falls under the stereotype, but has nothing to do with it. These pictures show how easy it is to succumb to an established negative judgment, and at the same time, how easy it is to become a victim of prejudice yourself.

Not every former soldier or war veteran is homeless. Pictured: Jacob Williams, a veteran of the Iraq War.

According to the author of the project, he wanted to open the eyes of the world and show how unfair and deceptive stereotypes can be. And although the photographer only took a series of 10 pictures, there are so many different prejudices among us that it could be continued indefinitely.
