More than two hundred million pounds were spent on the construction of the Berwin correctional Institution. The prison is designed for 2,100 prisoners.
The prisoners will live in pairs. If they behave properly, they will be able to call approved numbers from the phone installed in the "camera". A computer — without Internet access, it is needed to order the necessary products and things through a special service.

In the next room there is a playground for children who came to visit their dad.
In the evening, convicts who behave well will work out in the gym…
...or play football on an artificial turf field.
The kitchen, where halal utensils are stored in different cabinets (it is used for cooking for Muslims) and non-halal.
The public is not too happy that bandits will live better than some law-abiding Britons. Manager Russ Trent reacted to the attacks as follows:
With the opening of Berwin, about a thousand new jobs will appear. According to approximate calculations, the total amount of tax deductions of prison staff will be 23 million pounds per year.
