Spaniard received goods from AliExpress after 6 years
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/spaniard-received-goods-from-aliexpress-after-6-years.htmlMany people are familiar with the situation when an order from AliExpress has to wait for several weeks or even months. It also happens that the goods are not sent at all or they get lost along the way, for example, they sink in the ocean. But the resident of Spain was lucky. Her package arrived 6 years later, when no one was waiting for her.
In 2017, a Spaniard ordered a figurine from a LEGO set on AliExpress. When the order did not arrive on time, she notified the seller and opened a dispute. The seller from China assured that he sent the toy in a timely manner and did not know why it did not arrive. Nevertheless, he resignedly returned the money to the buyer - 1.57 euros (125 rubles at the current exchange rate).
Of course, the woman immediately forgot about this little thing. But the order was still slowly but surely sent to the addressee. It's hard to imagine her surprise when the package ended up in her mailbox. The LEGO figurine traveled from China to Spain for 6 years! What would you do in her place? Surely they would have laughed and, having told a curious incident to their friends, they would have thrown it out of their heads.
But the Spaniard did not. She transferred those same 1.57 euros to the seller and reminded him of an old case. From China, she received a philosophical answer: "Better late than never." On such a positive wave, the story of one parcel not delivered on time ended. And it happens that the departure arrives on time, but it would be better if it got lost along the way.
