Inge lived for 55 years in Copenhagen. She worked as a laboratory assistant in a biochemical laboratory, and then owned a sewing studio for many years. Photography was just a hobby for her back then. But in 2012, she and her husband moved to a village surrounded by untouched nature. There she wanted to create. It was easy to find space for a workshop in a large farmhouse.

Realizing that she lacked technical knowledge, Inge Schuster went to Istanbul, where she completed a street photography course. She says that it was after the training that she began to feel that the images told small but interesting stories. The photographer jokes that when everyone goes on vacation from the city to the countryside, she and her husband go to the city. Inspiration comes to her on the streets, squares and cramped old courtyards.

Inge Schuster's paintings are portraits of ordinary people, but in an unusual interpretation. The artist also loves architecture, nature and textured surfaces. Inge boldly combines all this, adding bright colors and boldly experimenting with composition. Shuster regularly participates in competitions, winning prizes there.
