The ability to influence people with art is the secret of real talent. The artist from Yakutia Andrey Chikachev is all right with this. It is difficult to find a person who is able to restrain a smile at the sight of his works.
Andrey Vasilyevich Chikachev was born in 1967 in the village of Khatyn-Sysy in Yakut ASSR. Already in the third grade, Andrey began attending art school, and after receiving a certificate in 1982, he entered Yakut Art School. Then Chikachev continued his education at the Far Eastern Institute of Arts at the Faculty of Painting.
The first solo exhibitions of the artist took place in the mid-90s. And already in 1998 , the talented painter was accepted into Union of Artists of Russia. Andrey Chikachev is a laureate of numerous competitions and a member of the commission for awarding the state prize. The artist lives and works in Yakutsk.
Chikachev's work is characterized by a great love for his homeland and its people, as well as a sense of humor. Most often, the artist depicts situations from the lives of ordinary people. These are reindeer herders, hunters, fishermen, masters of folk crafts. The master has a special attitude to children — most of the paintings are dedicated to them.
Chikachev's works are always bright, bright and cheerful. They look like illustrations for children's books and leave behind only positive emotions.
