Melbourne tattoo artist Tukoi Oya uses colored fluorescent inks to highlight areas of her tattoo designs. Thanks to this, they can be seen in a completely different light... literally.

Ultraviolet, or fluorescent, tattoos are applied using a special pigment that is not visible in daylight and reveals all its beauty only in ultraviolet light. With its help, you can either create a completely “invisible” secret tattoo, or complement an existing one, giving it an original look. This is exactly what the Australian artist is doing, whose tattoo parlor in Melbourne is extremely popular thanks to this unusual technique.

Tukoy Oya draws inspiration for her works from the theme of nature and space, and her various star and space tattoos are made in the form of naive hand-drawn drawings.
