Scottish reaction to independence referendum results
In Scotland, the results of the independence referendum have been announced. According to preliminary data, 44.5% of the inhabitants of the region voted for the independence of Scotland on September 18, against 55.4%. Thus, the opponents of the secession of Scotland won the referendum. Only in four districts out of 32, supporters of the country's withdrawal from the UK were in the majority.
