It is stupid to deny the similarity of man with monkeys, although, I would like to hope that there are still more differences than coincidences. Scientists have greatly shaken faith in humanity by comparing the way of thinking of US citizens and primates. As it turned out, Americans also think like monkeys.

The bold experiment involved 10 American adults, 50 children, 37 members of the Tsimane tribe from Bolivia, who were almost untouched by civilization, and three tame Rhesus monkeys.

The essence of the experiment was that all its participants were asked to arrange some information in accordance with their vision of the situation. Scientists were surprised to find that the inhabitants of the United States and monkeys have a very similar thought chain. Both monkeys and Americans used recursive thinking when working with the proposed data.

This way of thinking implies an approach to various tasks using nested structures. It is believed that this approach is used by great apes, if they had to solve similar problems before. It turns out that a person also uses recursive thinking, although he has a greater choice of ways to solve the task. Psychologists believe that this happens intuitively.

Despite the fact that the participants of the experiment were Indians from the Amazon jungle and Americans, scientists are absolutely sure that the same result will be shown by residents of other parts of the planet. Although, most likely, this scientific fact requires additional verification.

Scientists often compare monkeys and humans on different parameters. For example, representatives of science have studied in detail the physical capabilities of primates and determined that we are very far from them in terms of physical strength.
