The persistent seal regularly goes ashore, crosses the road and waits for its dish, after which it goes back into the water.
Sammy has no problems with the road to his favorite restaurant. He just gets out of the water, splashes around the harbor, and then crawls along the two-lane road to his favorite restaurant.
Sammy has long been "his" for the locals. Sometimes the employees of the "Lighthouse" give him fish. Sometimes they drive him away with a chair. But Sammy doesn't get upset. The main thing for him is a walk. And fish. Mostly fish.
