Ruthless men's fashion of the 70s
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/ruthless-mens-fashion-of-the-70s.htmlThe fashion of each era is unique and dictated by different trends and events. Fashion of the 70s, for example, was aimed at expressing individuality and freedom. It was the era of disco, hippie, sexual freedom and self-expression. Men's fashion of that time deserves special attention — somewhere funny and merciless, but unique. Let's look at pictures from American fashion magazines of the 70s.
The 70s were the era of disco, hippies, sexual freedom and self—expression. Men mostly wore bright colors, and fashion brands included some elements of women's fashion in their collections — sandals, high-waisted trousers, bell-bottomed trousers, shorts, tight clothes, pajamas-overalls. And yet — chest hair was considered a squeak of sexuality and fashion.
When looking at some of the examples, I want to cry and laugh. They are so ridiculous and funny that we can only be glad that this fashion has gone into oblivion. However, some details and styles from the 70s have been preserved by modern designers and brands, and periodically recreate them in their collections.
