Well, in the erotic genre, only one works - the British Trevor and Faye Yerbury (Trevor and Faye Yerbury). This amazing family has over 35 years of experience in artistic nude photography. Over the years of creativity, the Yerburys have created their own exclusive style, which cannot be confused with anything. Their pictures are romantic, sophisticated and at the same time very simple. (Caution! Nude).
Trevor Yerbury was born in 1951 in Edinburgh into a family of photographers. His family was an old dynasty founded by Trevor's great-grandfather. In 1864, he opened a photographic studio in the capital of Scotland, in which all generations of the men of the family worked. Trevor himself joined photography in 1969, becoming the fourth in the Yerbury dynasty.
Since 1970, Trevor has been working with his wife Fay. The couple has held many exhibitions in their native Edinburgh, London, Paris, Vancouver, Madrid, Valletta and Copenhagen. Trevor Yerbury has earned an honorary membership of the Royal Photographic Society, and he and his wife have taken up a whole room of awards from various competitions.
The Yerburys worked in portrait, wedding and avant-garde genres, but their erotic works brought them fame. The couple have devoted more than 30 years to this direction, and Trevor willingly explains his special attitude to the naked female body:
Although Trevor plays first fiddle in the family team, he makes all decisions only with Fay. Together, the couple chooses locations, models, entourage, works out details and lighting. The photos of the couple are very different, but they are recognized even without a signature. The main “trick” that they will never give up is the imprint of the classics in every work.
Czech photographer Lukas Dvorak is another master of black and white nudes who prefers a romantic style.
