At the beginning of March 2020 in China has dramatically increased the number of married couples who have decided to break off relationships. The Global Times writes about this, referring to the words of employees of local divorce organizations.

Some argue that couples are almost lining up to end the marriage as soon as possible.

As you already understood, the reason for the excitement was quarantine, because of which many couples stayed at home for more than a month. During this time, a lot of conflicts have occurred between them, because before they did not have to be together for so long — it's no secret that the Chinese work very hard and spend most of their time away from home.The forced "vacation" obviously did not benefit them…

Some agencies even had to impose restrictions. For example, in Fuzhou, no more than 10 couples can get divorced per day. So now ex-lovers literally have to stand in line to terminate their relationship officially.
