Pure beauty, happiness, and love - this can be called a series of pictures of mothers, photographed with their children just a day after their birth. Photographer Jenny Lewis decided to capture the positive emotions that mothers have for their newborn babies, who before the birth of her baby was very worried about how the birth would go. The fears were in vain, the birth went smoothly. And so she got the idea of creating a photo project “One Day Young”.

1. Jenny Lewis posted advertisements in her neighborhood that she was looking for mothers who would agree to take pictures with their baby the day after his birth. She promised to take care of the organization of the whole process herself. Pictures of the first mothers were published on the network and then other women began to contact her.
