Pri-i-vetiki: who played the main role in the video "Man-g@vno" and what does Yuri Loza have to do with it

In November 2016, the band "Birtman" released its first official music video for the song "Man-g @vno". The video was directed by Alexey Kazakov, and the main role was played by Vasily Utkin. Filming took place in two capitals of our vast — both in the bustling refuge of white-collar Moscow, and in bohemian-party St. Petersburg.

According to the participants of the Birtman project, the song "Man-g @vno", written by the now deceased poet Zinovy Birtman back in the 60s of the last century, sounds more relevant today than ever — after all, it is clear that there are more and more such characters every year. Even during his lifetime, Zinovy Arkadyevich had a gift — he could identify a "wormhole" in a person hidden in the deepest depths of the soul with one penetrating glance. But he was also able to see the light.

Today, for many, the image created by Vasily Utkin is not so much a bridegroom in love as a full—fledged symbol of freedom, rejection of prejudice, boundless "rubbery" moral values and a simple Zhigan independent freewoman.

The domestic stage could not remain indifferent: its best sons, for example, such as Yuri Loza, complained that they were not offered to play "man-g @ vno" told about their impressions of the freshly baked hit.

The performer of the main role himself shared his opinion about how he relates to the perception of his character by the progressive public.

The Birtman collective publicly declared itself last year. In a relatively short period of time, it has become a truly cult phenomenon. Songs of "Birtman" are downloaded by gigabytes, and are liked by thousands of hearts. In addition, the band's songs have become a kind of example of wide citation on the Internet, and the performances cause genuine excitement of the public.

Performing the songs of maestro Zinovy Birtman and preserving the best musical traditions of the 60-70s of the last century, the artists managed not to turn into a standard retro ensemble, but, on the contrary, to create their own unique sound and style full of mysterious charm, which some music critics call "avant-pop".
