Dmitry Eigenson aka nehludoff, a blogger from Ufa, says: “In the elephant nursery in Pinavella (Sri Lanka), the whole village feeds around these four-legged mega-pets. Hotels accept guests, cafes fry dishes, tuk-tukers take them to elephant rides, where the happy owners of Hatkha, Jumbo and other Kurushas carry happy white couples on their wide backs. But the most unusual thing seemed to me fragrant business on elephant dung. It's just that once someone came up with a bright idea to make countless cow cakes ... what would you think? Paper!!!"

1. And this paper, as well as numerous products from it, fly away with a bang. Like hot cakes, excuse me for not elegant comparison)
2. First, all elephant manure is collected from the fields, washed and dried. Now it does not smell, you can touch it, but we did not become a fireman.
3. Then the substance is again filled with water, fermented, heated until it reaches the desired consistency. Just in case, this happens behind bars, since the properties of elephant droppings are not fully understood, and there is a fear that a new dangerous life form may arise there.
4. Then in special bathrooms it is all settled and mulched. If you touch the substrate for a long time at this stage, a mustache grows.
5. Next, add natural dyes. There is nothing artificial here at all, starting from the diet of the elephants themselves and ending with the price tags in the shop at the workshop.
6. That's it, now you can fearlessly touch and even write on liquid. The paper is almost ready, it's time to dry it. To do this, it is poured into special molds and left in the sun.
7. After a couple of days, the almost finished product is taken out and passed through bulky hand presses.
8. It turned out quite a real paper. The truth is very embossed and textured. The inclusions, apparently, are the remains of the breakfast of the sire elephant.
9. Now we need to make a product out of this paper that tourists will like. Basically, these are, of course, notebooks, envelopes and albums.
10. But other than that, poop paper is great for papier mache. It turns out quite elegant and very durable gizmos. For example, here is a baby elephant.
11. Or even such an elephant, also completely made of poop paper)
In short, the moral is this: you can make candy out of shit if you don’t yawn and look under your feet!
