Regis and Kahran are photographers who primarily work with children and families. Together with hairdresser LaShanda Gatson, they created a photo series that recreates traditional princesses, depicting African-American girls as "black royalty." With their project, they want to tell more girls around the world that they can be princesses too.

We couldn't take our eyes off these amazing shots. And we really hope that this project will reach as many young girls as possible.
