Jacqueline's work focuses more on the psychological and emotional transition from childhood to adolescence. The shooting technique used by the photographer further enhances the gloomy atmosphere.
The photographic wetcollodion process was invented in 1851 almost simultaneously by Frederick Scott Archer and Gustave Le Gray. The first publication belongs to Archer, so the invention is attributed to him. In the 19th century, this technique became a real breakthrough in the world of photography, allowing you to take high-quality photos with short exposures. The technique quickly became popular among photographers, it was used to shoot portraits, landscapes, and architecture.
