Photo shoot of a young and not yet famous Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie was just 15 years old when she came for a professional photo shoot by famed Hollywood photographer Harry Langdon in Los Angeles. Then it is almost nobody knew, though her father is renowned actor Jon Voight.

A few decades Langdon took pictures of people from the sphere of show business. He shot celebrities such as George Clooney, Halle berry and Sophia Loren. "When we are asked to shoot a relative of a famous actor, in this case Jon Voight, we always think: "Well, again, we can only hope that she knows what to do, and we'll try," but in the end it was a big surprise!" — says the photographer.

Langdon recalls that he was amazed at how Angelina was steadily while shooting. "Anyway, she seemed to know what to do. I don't know, maybe it was telepathy or something. I usually in your mind can imagine the position in which it will be a nice frame, and then BAM! — she's just her and accepts".

The shooting took place on 11 January 1991 and lasted about two hours. Langdon did not take any fees. "We used such a notion as "test photo shoot". Something like a free sample in the hope that these images will ever become valuable."

The photographer recalls that the shooting was very little talk that, according to him, unusual for young actors. "Sometimes during photo shoots I get involved in deep conversations, for example about skiing or riding. With Jolie it was only in the case".

Langdon found out how many of the young models years after the fact. "Nothing I did not know about it. Didn't know anything about the conditions in which she lives, about her Boyfriends. I knew nothing about her acting experience."

Among the many outfits for the photo shoot was a swimsuit. "She began to pose pretty sexy. But these poses, she's not very fit. She radiated pure sensuality. I just filmed from different angles".

Career of Angelina Jolie in the movie to begin only a few years after this photo shoot. In 2000, she received the "Oscar" for best actress the second plan in the movie "girl, Interrupted".

The photographer handed them to Jon Voight, and then never again heard of.

"When we are talking about acting in front of the camera need to be like to show most of the language of their body and sensuality as vividly as possible. Because there is no video camera, no dialogue, all you need to Express with the body what she turned out just fine."
