The pictures show the Rolling Stones relaxing in Stonehenge, Joshua Tree National Park and Los Angeles as their fame rises.
Photographer Michael Cooper has photographed The Rolling Stones throughout their career and is also the author of iconic images of The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Andy Warhol and others.

1. Snapshot of the band in 1967 - the year of the drug scandals and the release of their sixth album called Their Satanic Majesties Request. The cover art for this album is also directed by Cooper.
