One of Escobar's main houses is located in the Colombian city of Medellin, where the famous drug lord grew up. Now this once-chic mansion is slowly turning into ruins, but there are no fewer people who want to visit Escobar's house.
Escobar acquired the estate in 1982, after the birth of his daughter. The house was built with double-layered walls so that drugs and money could be hidden in the cavity. And on the territory of the villa there was a guest house, a helipad, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a football field.
Currently, the luxury villa is used as a paintball court. Anyone can pay $75 for a session of the game "cops vs drug lords".
Another guest of the estate, Carlos Ramirez, said that the walls of the house are riddled with holes. These are treasure hunters looking for Escobar's wealth. But they say that no one has found anything yet.
Now the dispute over the ownership of the villa is between the authorities and the former caretaker of the mansion. While the formal owner is the state, but the caretaker continues to fight, claiming that he has worked at the villa for 20 years and has the right to it.
