Of course, Oxford is known primarily for its university. The university, in turn, consists of faculties and 38 colleges. It so happened that we arrived in Oxford on Christmas Day, December 25th, the weather was excellent and the streets of the city were deserted. Well, just a paradise for a tourist with a camera.”

12. From Wikipedia, I learned that it is here that the events described in the work “Alice in Wonderland” by the famous English writer Lewis Carroll take place. By the way, he was a graduate of this college in his youth. Christ Church College is also proud of the record number of graduates who have served as Prime Minister of Great Britain, there were thirteen of them.

The end point of our walk was Trinity College. It was founded in the 16th century and produced quite a few famous graduates. Among them were cardinals and politicians, scientists and musicians. It's the only college you could get into on Christmas Day.
