No, well, why go back and forth twice? These photos were taken on the roads of China. As you can see, “high-rise cars” are a fairly common sight.

1. Highways and bridges in China are too expensive for transport companies.
2. Sometimes the cost of transportation is up to 20% of the total value of the goods.
3. Therefore, it is not surprising that many companies prefer to transport their cargo themselves. And, as economically as possible.
4. Overloading is a serious problem in China and a danger to both pedestrians and other drivers on the road.
5. According to the authorities, 80% of all trucks on the country's roads are overloaded.
6. These trucks are damaging the country's already crumbling roads. And in the past, because of them, even several bridges collapsed.
7. For months, the bridge over the Qiantang River in Hangzhou, designed for cars no heavier than 30 tons, was driven by trucks with a load exceeding 100 tons.
8. As a result, the bridge collapsed in July 2011, when a truck weighing 129 tons was driving along it.
9. In the same month, a bridge in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, and another 300-meter arch bridge in Wuyishan collapsed. But the bridges were not even 12 years old.
10. China has about 660,000 bridges, more than any other country in the world.
11. But every year more than a dozen of them are destroyed.
12. Overloading vehicles is one of the main reasons.
