Olivier Valsecchi's Drifting Eros

Olivier Valsecchi's Drifting Eros

Categories: Photo project

French photographer Olivier Valsecchi recently presented a new series of photographs called "Drifting". Having become famous all over the world with the Dust series, which earned him the prestigious Hasselblad Masters Award in 2012, Valsecchi remained committed to the image of human bodies.

This time he turned to the history and works of famous Baroque artists for inspiration. Unlike previous works, most of which are a sculptural reflection of the human body and a tribute to its unique structure and vitality, in the series "Floating with the Flow" there is more melancholy and emotional exploration of the ephemerality of man.
