All nine circles of hell that the author goes through, accompanied by the ancient Roman poet Virgil, are illustrated and signed: flames and snakes, devils that punish unhappy souls according to their sins, and a huge Lucifer that devours the three main traitors in the history of mankind — Judas Iscariot and those who killed Caesar Brutus and Cassius.
The creators of the project believe that such a detailed and detailed interactive map will help to develop visual memory.
"Map of Hell" by Sandro Botticelli
In the poem, hell is a huge funnel attached to the center of the earth, consisting of concentric circles.
In the first circle of hell — limbo-there are many ancient heroes: Minotaur, centaurs, harpies. Their half-animal nature reflects the sins and vices of humans. Actually, the antiquity of the first circle means that the ancient culture is pagan and, accordingly, sinful, since it is not marked with the sign of Christ.
On the map there are three mythical rivers-Acheron, Styx and Phlegethon, the guardians of the circles of hell-the carrier of dead souls Charon, the guardian of the gates of Cerberus and the judge of hell-Minos, the king of Crete.
In the following circles of hell, sinners are seen being tormented by punishments.
The last, ninth circle of hell is inhabited by traitors and traitors. Judas Iscariot, Brutus, and Cassius, as the greatest traitors of history, are gnawed in their three mouths by Lucifer himself.
