All his works, one way or another, are connected with mythology and are filled with mysterious charm. His heroines are a symbiosis of ancient legends, earthly and divine beauty with spectacular realism.
Karol Bak was born on May 30, 1961 in the Polish city of Kolo. As a child, he was fascinated by the myths and legends of the peoples of the world, the magic of which he transferred to paper using pencils and paints. After school, he entered the State Higher School of Fine Arts at the art and graphic department.
Having received his diploma, Buck continued to master the skill of a painter in the studios of famous artists Tadeusz Jackowski and Jaroslaw Kozlowski. Their creativity left a serious imprint on the formation of Karol Bak as a master. In his paintings there was a place for illusions, which he skillfully combined with eroticism and high realism.
Karol Bak first began exhibiting his oil works in the early 90s. An original artist with excellent technique quickly found fans, and people began to buy his paintings. Today they can be seen in galleries and private collections in the USA, Great Britain, France and, of course, in the artist’s homeland in Poland.
If you liked the paintings of Karol Bak, then you will certainly appreciate the works of the Russian artist Vanya Zhuravlev.
