She was the only Czechoslovakian mass murderer-a woman and last criminal, sentenced in his country to the death penalty. 10 July 1973 she killed 8 people and wounded 12, using this method, which began use Islamic terrorists decades later.
Olga was born in Prague quite prosperous family in 1951. Her father Antonin worked in a Bank and her mother Anna is a dentist. Olga was the youngest child in the family — she was the older sister Eva, who was born in 1949.
When the other kids, doing homework, going together for games and communication, Hepnarova sat on the bike and rode out of town, in a field or forest. There, surrounded by nature, she could spend hours lying on the grass and watch the sky. Despite all the weirdness, Olga studied well and was a "koroshitai".
But matriculation Hepnarova never received. At the age of 13 years old girl attempted suicide after eating sleeping pills. It managed to save, but after that Olga was placed in a children's psychiatric clinic, where she remained for about a year with a diagnosis of schizophrenia and depressive.Hepnarova hopelessly behind, still standing at the psychiatrist, instead of the certificate was given a certificate, which had closed her path to further learning. But Olga was still — even then, she decided to devote his life to revenge her surrounding hostile society.
In the night from 6 to 7 August 1970 Olga rode my bike to the village Zabrody with a bundle of old Newspapers and a canister of gasoline. She set fire to his parents ' house, where the guests were sitting and her sister Eva. Fortunately, people inside woke up and managed to extinguish the flames.
Olga and no one would suspect arson — first in crime tried to blame eve, and then Hepnarova senior. In the end, unable to prove anything, the police closed the case. That the fire was started by the youngest daughter, all found only in 1973, when she was already awaiting trial for another crime, which has become known all over the country.
Shortly after graduation, Olga Hepnarova got a driver's license and got a job as a truck driver. This choice of profession it seemed strange, because previously no thrust to the technique the girl didn't show.
10 July 1973 Olga crashed his car into a group of 25 people waiting at the tram stop located in the street of the Defenders of the world (now St. Milada Horakova). As a result of hitting three of them died immediately, three in the same day in the hospital and two women later. 12 people were injured and some are disabled.

The scene Hepnarova was not going to run. She killed the engine and waited for his arrest in the cab of the truck. At first, everyone was sure that was an accident — a young girl lost control and crashed into the crowd. But Olga herself told investigators that he committed mass murder intentionally.
Moreover, she cynically said that he came to a halt on the street of peace twice. For the first time, seeing that the people on the sidewalk a little, Olga passed. After a while she came back and saw the crowd, was done. The killer willingly cooperated with the investigation and talked about setting up a terrible crime and its motives. In her words, killing people was the revenge society that never wanted to accept it. Before his terrible act, Olga was sent to the wording of two of the Prague Newspapers of the letter in which explained that killing people is a way to get even with the world and her family in particular.

The letters were to be awarded to recipients around the time when Hepnarova crushed people with a truck, but due to the poor performance of the mail they were received only after two days after the tragedy.
In addition, the letter Hepnarova indicated that knocked down in a random place on July 8, using the bus. Then she fixed written, adding that the murder weapon will be a truck with a license plate 706R. Initially, Olga did not plan to use their car and tried to steal the bus or a tank. But she failed, and the killer went on a very simple way, using a working machine — a flatbed truck.

Despite the fact that Hepnarova was a civilian judge its Tribunal. The accused was forbidden to communicate with a lawyer and refused to take into account its documented mental disorder. At trial, the killer has openly declared that he wanted to kill as many people as possible and that in deed she has no regrets.
6 April 1974 Olga Hepnarova sentenced to the Supreme penalty of death by hanging. The verdict was confirmed by several high courts, including the Supreme court of Czechoslovakia. The girl's mother sent the head of state, the General Secretary of the Central Committee Gustav Husak the petition for clemency, which was immediately rejected.

The expression of maternal care by Anna Hepnarova accepted bayonets. For trying to save her daughter first fined and then fired. Olga Hepnarova was hanged at Prague's Pankrac prison on 12 March 1975 in 6 hours and 40 minutes. About last minutes of the most terrible villains Soviet Czechoslovakia is not known.
By a strange coincidence, the street on which he committed the murder of innocent people Hepnarova, now bears the name Milada Horakova women, which also hung in Pancrase, but 25 years before Olga. Horakova was a public figure and she was executed on false charges of "subversive conspiracy."
