They tortured the victims and then took their lives in cold blood. It is not clear how the feeling of love was combined with the desire to kill, but their atrocities make the blood run cold.

Here are the most famous couples of lovers who had a passion not only for each other, but also for murder.

Before the age of 19, Bonnie Parker had already succeeded in cracking safes and robbing stores. Then she met and fell in love at first sight with 20-year-old Clyde Barrow. At that time, he had also been working in the criminal field for a long time.

The pair of criminals met through a mutual friend in Texas in January 1930. The lovers began a series of robberies that lasted 21 months. Working in the community with other members of the Barrow group, they robbed banks, gas stations, shops and restaurants. Their production usually did not exceed several thousand dollars.

Fleeing during shootouts with the police, Boney and Clyde killed nine police officers and four civilians. The police caught them on a tip from a friend and shot them in Louisiana in 1934. The real story of the criminal couple was romanticized during the Great Depression, and in 1967 a film based on its plot was released.

Britons Kim Edwards and Lucas Markham were 14 years old when they stabbed the girl's mother and her 13-year-old sister with kitchen knives. It happened at my parents' house in Spalding. After the murder, the couple had sex and watched the Twilight movie.

The alarm was raised by the school administration when the teenagers did not appear in class. The next day, the police came to their house and found the young murderers in bed under a blanket. They stated that the main reason for the terrible crime was Kim's jealousy of the warm relationship between her mother and sister.

The lovers did not feel guilty for what they had done. They were found guilty of two murders in November 2016 and sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Later, video evidence appeared that Carla participated in rapes and murders, including bullying her own sister. She was released from prison in 2005. Paul received a life sentence.

Abusive spouses Ian Brady and Myra Hindley killed five children aged 10 to 17 in Manchester in the 60s. The perverts raped the victims and then took their lives.
