Miracle Casket: where in Bulgaria to buy anything and whenever
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/miracle-casket-where-in-bulgaria-to-buy-anything-and-whenever.htmlIn the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, there are street stalls of the basement type, where the windows are barely above the level of the pavement. This type of trade is a unique shopping experience for guests from more Western countries. And for a Russian person, I must admit, such stalls are already the exception rather than the rule.
These photos were taken by a Flickr user under the nickname Sograph, dedicating his audience to the unusual shopping culture of the Bulgarian capital. These stalls are called klek-shops, which literally translates as"shop on your knees".
Everything is sold here: snacks, cigarettes, newspapers and any alcohol. Some even offer shoe repair services and pour coffee! And the best part is that these beautiful shops for dwarves often work around the clock to meet any needs of young people hanging out.
