Men early in the morning

Photographer Veronique Vial is better known for her series Women Before 10 AM, but she also photographed male celebrities in their natural habitat - at home, early in the morning, when they haven't even had time to wash their faces, let alone put on an advertising smile. The conditions under which the photo shoot took place are a mystery, but they say that no one has ever refused the beautiful photographer anything.

The series "before 10 am" is quite old, the photo album was published in 1996 and is now considered almost a rarity, but in principle it can be found on Amazon or Ebay. So the heroes in the images are still young and claims are not accepted.

Veronique simply came to the celebrity's house alone and started shooting. No makeup artists, assistants or additional lighting. This gave it a natural look, and no one had to pose specially. The celebrities, like everyone else, yawn, smoke, some are still "sleeping" and haven't really gotten up, while others are already playing with children and animals, and hospitably offering to have coffee.

It is easy to assume that men are much more nervous before 10am than women (oddly enough!) before 10am in front of the camera. Perhaps that is why many of the images turned out almost comical.
