Magic Journey to Christmas

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/magic-journey-to-christmas.htmlThose who happened to walk around the city center this weekend have already managed to plunge headlong into the sweet atmosphere of New Year's Eve euphoria and feel with their skin (okay, with the skin of a down jacket) how "the holiday is coming to us." Rather, in the case of Moscow, it has already arrived.
Everything that we once went for or wanted to go to Europe for the New Year - all these fairs with hot mulled wine and folk crafts, songs and dances with strangers in the middle of the street, knitted deer and caramel apples, performances for children and games for adults - unfolded in full force in almost all open pedestrian areas of Moscow.
The authorities of the capital, which for several years now seem to be playing tricks on the external appearance of the city, this time have surpassed themselves: the Journey to Christmas festival, which takes place from December 12 to January 11 in 36 city locations, is a real miracle. For a variety of reasons.
These are just the ones that are visible to the eye.
1. "Journey to Christmas" implies such a flowing route from one pleasantly decorated and stuffed with fun streets to another. You can take a look at it all with your eyes or choose the most interesting section on the website http://festmoscow.ru/.
2. Let's start with the main thing - all created objects, entertainment and scenery are truly surrounded by life. I want to touch everything, look at it and take pictures, which is what people are doing at last with a satisfied look (Pushkinskaya Square).
3. The city really shone and came to life. Despite the beauty of the slushy December weather, the suggestion of spending the day walking around the city does not seem foolish at all.
4. At least there is no longer any regret that it gets dark early in winter.
5. The eye is pleasantly pleased with such surrealistic pictures and the cheerful sound of New Year's motifs in a live performance (Teatralnaya Square).
6. A wonderful quote by Philip Bakhtin comes to mind: “Children should be happy. When this is written at the entrance to the city hall, life will begin to improve. It is then that you understand why this is so in reality.
7. This is, for example, a children's puppet theater shop, where they show Italian fairy tales with a wooden Pinocchio, greeting everyone with the words “Buona Sera” (Kuznetsky Most). It should be noted that the whole Italian courtyard with wonderful pavilions and smiling people is incomparable! By no means miss
