A wonderful villa in the Tuscan hills, worth 400,000 pounds (about 40 million rubles), will go to the winner of the winning ticket for only 25 pounds (about 2,500 rubles). Thus, the family wants to fulfill someone's desire to get a dream home for almost nothing.
45-year-old John and Anna Maria Ners say that this is a chance for someone to buy a dream house at a ridiculous price. John believes that everyone deserves to live in a dream home and hopes to fulfill such a wish for someone.
The couple promised to donate 50,000 pounds (about 4.9 million rubles) to the charity foundation The Children's Society, which supports children in vulnerable situations in England and Wales.
The couple decided to raffle the house in a lottery. Anyone who buys one of 20,000 tickets, worth 25 pounds (about 2500 rubles), can win a luxurious mansion. In addition, the winner will not pay any taxes, he will be paid for a flight for two, two days of car rental and a hotel stay.
If all tickets are not sold, the couple will either give away the house, choosing the lucky one from among the lottery participants, or give the winner money, deducting 20% for expenses and marketing services, as well as 10% for charitable donations.
Tickets will be on sale until January 29, 2021 on the Win Houses in Italy website.
For those who dream of living in sunny Italy, there is another tempting offer. In the ancient city of Taranto, historical buildings are sold for just 1 euro (about 90 rubles). The Mayor's office decided to arrange a generous action to populate the deserted city with new residents.
